How to Clean Off-White Air Jordans

Welcome back to another episode of Shoe Care Academy. Fan favorite Jordan is back to do what she does best, clean up this pair of Jordans. 

Today she’s working in this beat up pair of Off-White Air Jordan 2 Lows.

 And while the overall design aesthetic is supposed to make these look old, aged, and dingy, they are in desperate need of a deep Reshoevn8r with our Reshoevn8r Signature Shoe Cleaning Kit.

A Rundown of the Off-White Air Jordan Deep Clean Process

As per usual, Jordan starts by removing the laces and inserting the Adjustable Shoe Tree. This will provide a solid foundation underneath the toe box when we go to scrub that area. 

With two squirts of Reshoevn8r Sneaker Cleaning Solution squirted into our bowl of water, we’re ready to work through the Three Brush Pack, starting with the Soft Bristle Brush. 

Jordan used the Soft Bristle Brush to clean the leather uppers of the shoe. As you work through the upper, the solution will help to break down stains and more stubborn dirt. After the first pass through, if some deeper stains remain, don’t worry as we’ll attack those with our Medium Bristle Brush later. 

Next, Jordan used the Medium Bristle Brush to scrub the midsole and remove those remaining deeper stains from the upper. The midsoles on this pair are very different, they have a cracked and aged look to them by default. Still, the Medium Bristle Brush was able to clean the midsoles and they’re back to looking how they did out of the box. 

The last brush in the Three Brush Pack is the Stiff Bristle Brush, which Jordan used to scrub down the outsoles of the shoe. The Stiff Bristle Brush is great for removing dirt and grime from the hard rubber sole. 

Pro Tip: For any dirt, rocks, or debris that the stiff bristle brush can’t remove from the sole, try using an exacto knife or pick to jar them loose. 

That wraps up our preliminary clean. Even though the brushes and Sneaker Cleaning Solution did a good job, we still want to run these through our Patented Laundry System to flush out any remaining dirt. 

To do this, place the shoes into the Sneaker Laundry Bag, and insert the shoe laces and one Sneaker Laundry Detergent pod into the little pouch on top. Then throw them into the washing machine for a full wash cycle. 

After letting these dry in the Arizona sun, Jordan is ready to start rocking these to the racetrack once again. 

Mission Accomplished

This pair of Off-White Air Jordan 2s cleaned up very nicely, even after the beating that Jordan put them through. Take this as a message of hope: no pair of shoes is ever too far gone.
