Make sure you watch the entire video above to see the Don C Jordan 2 transform right in front of your eyes. In the meantime, let's break down the history of the Just Don Air Jordan 2 and a little bit about the sneaker.
When did the Air Jordan 2 Just Don Release?
The Jordan 2 Just Don (or Don C Jordan 2) was released in January of 2015. The shoe came in three different colors including Blue, Beach, and Arctic Orange. Due to the luxurious nature of the collaboration, the shoes retailed for $350, which is a fraction of what they sell for on the resale market today.
In addition to the sneakers themselves each shoe came with golden Wings keychains as well as premium sneaker dust bags. The Just Don Air Jordan 2 is more than just a shoe, it’s really a well-thought-out luxury experience.
What is Just Don?
If you don’t know what Just Don is, this shoe may be confusing to you. Just Don is a clothing and hat company founded by icon Don C. The company specializes in luxury sportswear including NBA shorts, jerseys, and python leather hats.
According to Just Don, their goal is to “honor the heritage of sports classics and amplify them with a modern luxury twist.”
Where Can I Buy the Air Jordan 2 Just Don?
The Air Jordan 2 Just Don is available from most sneaker resale and marketplace websites:

Essential Kit for Essential Sneaker Cleaning
Buying used sneakers from any of the marketplaces above can be a good way to save a little money, but wearing shoes that someone else has been wearing can be…well…gross. That’s why we recommend cleaning any used shoes with the RESHOEVN8R Essential Kit. Not only will it make your shoes look better, but it will also get rid of old bacteria that may be hiding in the cracks and crevices of your kicks.
Vick used the Essential Kit with its Three Brushes and Sneaker Cleaning Solution to give the Just Don Jordan 2 a deep clean, and it worked flawlessly. The shoes came out looking much better, and now he wont’ have to worry about nasty fungus or funky bacteria left over from the previous owner.
Color matching existing paint can be a big challenge, as was the case with the Just Don Jordan 2. The two different shades of blue gave Vick a hard time. It took literal hours for Vick to find the right mix of blue paints in order to match the shade of the Just Don’s perfectly. It’s quite funny finding the right colors took close to 3 hours, but painting the midsole and toe box took mere minutes!
Finding the right color can be a challenge, but be patient: it’s better to find the right color rather than settling for something that's completely off.
A lot of premium shoes come with waxed shoe laces, but did you know that the wax can wear off? The laces on the Just Don 2 used to be waxed, but it’s all worn away by now. Vick rubbed the laces back and forth against a block of paraffin wax to apply a new coat, and used an iron and a towel to melt the wax into place.
Perfect waxed laces. Every. Single. Time!
