The Red Oreo Air Jordan 6 is a beautiful shoe…well…was, before we caked our pair in mud. After letting the shoes sit overnight, that muddy, dirty goodness has all but baked itself into the once-white leather upper. Hopefully you won’t ever let your shoes get this bad, but stuff happens!

As mentioned earlier the Signature Kit is AWESOME because it gives you two cleaning methods to use. We always start with the brush method, as this will prep the shoe for the washing machine later on. In our case, we used the Soft Bristle Brush to scrub the leather upper, tongue, and insole. Then we followed it up with a pass through the midsole with our Medium Brush, and finished with the Stiff Brush on the outsole.

Let the Washing Machine do the dirty work

Now it’s time for the magic, let’s put these babies in the washing machine. We used the included Sneaker Laundry Bag to protect the shoes and laces, and threw in a Sneaker Laundry Detergent Pod for good measure. 

It's best to wash your shoes with cold water. We like to do a full cycle to start, let them dry, and then assess whether or not the shoes still need some work.

After two (yes, it’s okay to do this more than once) cycles in the washing machine, let’s take a look at the final results.
