This is the BEST WAY to Clean Your Sneakers As A Beginner

Welcome to the latest episode of Shoie Care Academy as our own Pretty Boy Rob is joined by Chase from Culture Kicks for a special guest appearance.

Rob will be showing him the ropes and learn how to clean like a pro using the limited-edition Reshoevn8r x Culture Kicks Sneaker Cleaning Kit.

For today's episode, Rob and Chase will be cleaning the Nike Killshot 2 and Vick Almighty's personal pair of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Shadow." 

The Culture Kicks kit has everything you need: 8 oz. bottle of solution, a 3 Brush pack, and 8 easy-to-use sneaker wipes. In addition to the kit, the sneaker cleaning mat, adjustable shoe trees, microfiber towel, and the dry rack & bowl combo will be essential tools for this demonstration.

For before-and-after purposes, we'll be setting one shoe to the side ahead of the cleaning. 

Like most cleanings, we'll start with the Soft Bristle Brush by brushing the first layer of dirt off to help with the cleaning down the road. 

Once the laces are removed, we'll pick back the Soft Brush and mix it with the water and solution. Then, it's time to get busy on the upper. To solidify the clean, the Medium Bristle Brush will do the trick for the midsole and the rest of the upper.

The Stiff Bristle Brush is ideal for the midsoles and especially the outsoles. Before the cleaning is over, it's time to work on the laces. You can either dip them in the bowl and swirl them around or give them a tight squeeze after getting them wet.

Additionally, you can also use the Soft Burstle Brush or the microfiber towel to fully clean the laces. 

When drying your sneakers, it's super important to put them in a well-ventilated area and NEVER in the dryer.

All that's left to do is to lace both pairs up.
