The Top 5 Best Red, White, & Blue Sneakers
Turn up the HEAT with these 4th of July Inspired Shoes
Happy Independence Day from the RESHOEVN8R Family. Whether you call it the 4th of July or Independence Day, there’s no better way to celebrate than breaking out a new pair of red, white, and blue sneakers.
They say the only way to beat the July heat is to rock it, so we curated a list of the hottest red, white, and blue sneakers for Independence Day. Bring the real fireworks this 4th of July with some show-stopping kicks inspired by everyone’s favorite summer holiday!
Keep in mind that these kicks aren’t in any particular order. We encourage you to pick your favorite pair and let us know in the comments if you have a red, white, and blue shoe that you think should have made the list!
1. Nike Air Force 1 Low SP UNDFTD 5 On It
Coming in first is the Nike Air Force 1 Low SP UNDFTD 5 On It. You can never go wrong with a pair of Air Force 1s, they’re extremely wearable, especially in this colorway.
The Nike Air Force 1 is the perfect silhouette for an Independence Day colorway - it shares a name with the President’s private aircraft! UNDFTD really took this classic red, white, and blue colorway to a new level with the addition of snakeskin and other premium materials.
The suede overlays and red UNDFTD tongue tag complete the look of this favorite 4th of July themed sneaker.
2. Jordan 1 Retro Top 3
It’s not a real sneaker list unless we include an Air Jordan 1…or so I’ve been told. The Jordan 1 Retro Top 3 fits the bill perfectly as an Independence Day themed sneaker.
The Top 3 colorway pays homage to the three most iconic Jordan 1 colorways ever; the Banned, Chicago, and Royal Air Jordan 1s. Mixing colorways doesn’t always produce the best results, but the Top 3 colorways mesh perfectly on this sneaker to form a jaw-dropping 4th of July piece.
You can’t get more classic than a good red, white, and blue pair of Jordan 1s.
3. Air Jordan 7 Olympic
What better way to celebrate Independence Day and American Pride than reminiscing on the glory days of MJ leading the USA Basketball Dream Team to an inevitable gold medal finish while rocking the iconic 1992 Olympic Air Jordan 7.
Luckily for those of us who were too young to watch the Dream Team lay the hammer down on the rest of the world, the Jordan 7 in the Olympic colorway has been brought back a few times, making them more than accessible (although that doesn’t mean cheap).
From its heritage down to the red, white, and blue color scheme, the Olympic Air Jordan 7 is a no-brainer for our list of the best Independence Day sneakers.
4. True Blue Air Jordan 3
The True Blue Air Jordan 3 makes our list of the best sneakers for the 4th of July, and it’s not hard to see why. This sneaker checks two boxes - it’s an OG colorway of the Air Jordan 3, and it just so happens to be red, white, and blue. Can’t argue with those facts!
As mentioned, the True Blue colorway of the Air Jordan 3 is an OG, but the shoe was retro’d in 2016 for those of us who weren’t around in 1988 when these first dropped. Interestingly this colorway was one of the few that MJ didn’t rock in a game, well not until much later when he was playing for the Wizards…we tend to try and forget the Washington MJ.
There's absolutely no way this would be a credible list if we left this pair off. No sneaker out there looks better in the red, white, and blue Independence Day color scheme than the Air Jordan 3 True Blue.
5. Nike Dunk Low Samba
Someone mentioned that if I didn’t put a Nike Dunk Low on this list, I was going to lose my job, so here we are. The Nike Dunk Low serves as the perfect silhouette to dawn the colors of our country.
You just can’t say anything negative about this pair. The red, white, and blue are perfectly complemented by the sleek silver leather upper to produce a cohesive Independence Day Nike Dunk Low.
The 4th of July is more than a day to celebrate our country’s independence, it also serves as the perfect time to gather together with friends and family and show off your latest pickups. Maybe your neighbor has the bigger firework display, but you can’t let them have the best kicks, too.
So what are you waiting for? Break out that pair of red, white, and blue sneakers and make Independence Day your new favorite sneaker holiday!
