In depth Tutorial Of the Reshoevn8r Sneaker Laundry System

The Background of the Sneaker Landry System:

People have been washing their sneakers for years in multiple ways from using a pillowcase and detergent to baking soda and a toothbrush. The founder of Reshoevn8r was no different. His mom instilled in him that clean shoes mattered and the cleaner the shoe the more confident you become, so he took pride in cleaning shoes every weekend. This ultimately inspired him to create the very first sneaker laundry system to give those across the globe a better way to clean their shoes.

The laundry system is controversial amongst sneakerheads and the community as a whole. Mr. Reshoevn8r has seen thousands of "I would NEVER put my shoes in the washing machine" comments in the last 14 years, but the invention is totally safe. Let's get into the correct way to wash your sneakers using the patented Sneaker Laundry system.

Step 1: The Pretreatment

While you can just put your dirty shoes in the washing machine it is not ideal. We recommend the pretreatment method. Remember to add the Shoe Trees to your sneakers and remove the laces prior to this for the BEST results.

Our Shoe Trees are adjustable and easy to use. Adjust them to size by squeezing the metal bars on the side then lock them into place in your shoe.

To get the best results you will want to pair our all natural cleaning solution with 4 ounces of water. Our solution is highly concentrated, so you only need 2 squirts for every four ounces of water. To start you will take the Soft Bristle Brush and use it on the entire upper of the shoe. The Soft Brush is delicate enough to use on ALL materials, this will create the most bubbles to remove the surface dirt. Next you will use the Medium and Stiff Bristle Brushes on the other parts of the shoe. The Medium Brush works great on rubber midsoles. However, you can also use this brush on materials such as leather or canvas. While the Stiff Bristle Brush is ONLY meant for the outsoles and rubber midsoles if there are deeper stains.

Remember to dry the shoe with the Microfiber Towel as you go!

Step 2: The Wash Cycle

Leave the Shoe Trees inserted for the entire wash cycle; this will help hold the shape of your shoe while they go for a spin. You will take the Laundry bag and insert the shoes sole to sole facing in opposite directions. Our Laundry Bag can fit up to a size 12 pair of high tops.

Once the shoes are in the Laundry Bag you will want to lock the bag into place using the locking mechanisms on the top and side of the bag. This will allow the shoes to be scrubbed by the bag during the cleaning as well as ensure they stay protected throughout the entire cycle. Next you will add your laces to the designated lace pouch with one of the Reshoevn8r Laundry Pods.

The Laundry Pods are highly concentrated and can clean up to 4 pairs of shoes at once. These Pods are natural and eco friendly; plus they're dye free to ensure they don't ruin your favorite shoes.

Once your shoes are prepped and ready we recommend washing these on a normal cycle or a quick wash. The most important part of this whole thing is to ensure you ONLY use cold water!

Another tip.. Top load washers typically see the best results, but you can do it with any washing machine.

Step 3: The Drying Process

NEVER put your shoes in the dryer. The heat of the dryer can shrink shoes, break down the glue and cause damage to certain materials. To properly dry your sneakers we recommend placing them in front of a fan for an even dry or to use the sun. Now one precaution would be if you live where it is incredibly hot, only leave the shoes outside for about 15 minutes.

Step 4: Wear Your Sneakers

Once they are clean and ready to go it is only right to put them back on feet! The cleaner the kicks the higher the confidence, get out there and shine in clean shoes.
