Happy 4/20 to everyone across the world! Today we pay homage to one of the most sensationalized herbs in the universe. As the recreational usage of marijuana becomes more normalized, so will the subculture that surrounds it. Seven years ago today, Nike launched one of their most prolific Nike SB Dunks Highs to commemorate this day. Since then there’ve been countless SKUNK inspired colorways that don’t deserve to go unnoticed. Would you have purchased any of these?
SNEAKER: Nike SB Dunk High Skunk
Responsible for the influx of “bud” themed Nikes, the Nike SB Dunk High Skunk is the sneaker the started it all. Complete with an extra pair of laces, Skunk insole, and secret herb compartment, this shoe has all the makings of a classic. If you want a pair today you’ll have to drop nearly $700 for a DS pair. However, a few used pairs are floating around for $420 (pun intended).

SNEAKER: Nike SB Dunk Low Galaxy
This Year’s Nike SB 4/20 release is centered around the SB Dunk Low. The Galaxy theme represents the feeling of floating through the stars on this special day. An iridescent star pattern is printed atop a pattern leather overlay. Complete with an icy translucent sole, the sneakers are now available for $100.
