Nike Basketball USA Collection June 28 2016, 0 Comments

Nike’s been anticipating the upcoming Olympic Games for quite a while. The Nike Basketball USA Collection includes a diverse selection of footwear for our American athletes to sport in Rio. Thus far we’ve seen kicks from KD, LeBron, Kyrie and Kobe. There’s also a USA iteration of the popular, Nike Hypershift. Assuming these Superstar athletes will choose to compete for their country, Nike’s prepared to keep them laced from the ground up.

As expected red/white/blue colorways are found across the five silhouettes. The LeBron 13 Low USA features a blue upper, detailed with white stars. The sneaker is contrasted with red accents and rests atop a partially translucent sole. The KD 9 USA has ditched the stocking concept. This mid-cut silhouette boasts a white upper with blue and red accents. Flyknit and Zoom Air technology contribute to a more comfortable fit. Kyrie’s USA kicks boast a similar makeover. The Nike Kyrie 2 has a blue midfoot strap that pairs well with an iconic red Swoosh.

Strangely, the Nike Kobe 11 is back again for a USA iteration. A unique color fading pattern is utilized across the upper. Constructed of Flyknit, the Kobe 11 USA rests atop an icy sole as well. Lastly, the Nike Hypershift is a swift, modern option. Dynamic Flywire creates lockdown support and flexibility. As we get closer to Rio it’s likely Nike will continue expanding the USA Basketball Collection. For now, enjoy Nike's initial offerings and stay tuned for more releases.
