Converse One Star x Tyler, The Creator

Tyler the Creator has ascended to unprecedented levels of stardom since his debut mixtape back in 2009. His vibrant personality is reflected in his style, which fans have grown to adore. Tyler has always openly supported Vans and even had a brief partnership with them. The Golf Wang x Vans collection sold out worldwide, prompting the Superstar to attempt his own line of sneakers. Production issues have prevented Golf Le Fleur sneakers from hitting the shelves, resulting in his current partnership with Converse. The Converse One Star x Tyler, The Creator is the next hottest footwear craze to sweep the streets.

Pictured above is the first official colorway of Tyler's signature sneaker. Known as the "Clearwater" iteration, the shoe released July 13th for $100. As expected they sold out in minutes, similar to his other footwear offerings. The insole features a flower graphic found on the artwork of his upcoming album, "Scum Fuck Flower Boy".  The kicks will come with a pair of white laces, appealing to the more modest wearer. A few pairs have been listed on eBay for as much as $400. Is the Converse One Star x Tyler, The Creator worth this horrendous price hike? We certainly don't think so but fandom is closely related to impulsive spending. Here are a few unreleased colorways courtesy of Mr. Creator, himself. What are you most excited for?
