Nike Kobe Signature Line Returning in FTB Form? February 23 2016, 0 Comments

Apparently, Nike has plans to retro the Nike Kobe basketball shoe line. According to the catalog, we'll see oldies such as the Air Zoom Huarache 2K4, Hyperdunk (2008), and plenty more. If this rumor comes to life, the first release will be aimed for March.

FTB stands for Fade to Black. A fitting theme for the Black Mamba as he concludes his 20 year career in the NBA. The most interesting thing may be the colorway. It seems like the shoes will be staring light and white with the Sail colorway in the Kobe 1 model and getting darker as the shoes move down the line.
Before the Kobe IX was unveiled, Nike retroed the signature line with the Prelude pack. Featuring the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 through the Nike Kobe 8, each featured a unique concept and theme.

Lately, the Huarache 2K4 has been seen in classic colorways like the 2004 All-Star Game and MPLS Lakers. This may be a sign of things to come after the Mamba retires. Until this is official, we have to wait and see what's going to happen next.
