With Nike's dominance in the basketball market, they always expect a slew of players to represent the Swoosh at the All-Star events
. In the main event, Nike already has Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Paul George starting.
Although the reserves haven't been announced yet, its hard to imagine Nike athletes: DeMar Derozan (frequent Kobe wearer), Demarcus Cousins (Hyperrev 2016), Anthony Davis (Air Max Audacity), and Draymond Green (Hyperrev 2016) left off the squad.
From left to right, the collection will feature the Air Max Audacity, LeBron XIII, Kobe XI, Kyrie 2, Hyperlive, and the KD 8. Surprisingly so, the collection didn't feature the Hyperrev 2016. Usually with the same color scheme, the shoes are sporadic this year. Since they haven't officially been unveiled, we don't know the backstory / theme to tie the shoes into one another.
It will be interesting to see if Kyrie Irving cracks the roster. Kyle Lowry leapt Kyrie in the fan voting to represent the hometown Raptors. The coaches will decide if his 18 games are enough to get him in (Coach Tyronn Lue only needed 3 games to coach the game).
Do you see any that attracts the eye?
