Christmas Day Kicks Recap December 29 2015, 0 Comments

Christmas Day is a huge day in the NBA world. From the beginning, the league makes sure to have an amazing slate of games to draw the audiences. Since families are gathered, something needs to be on the TV. Why not basketball? With the games running from morning to night, the casual fans tune in with the biggest fanatics.

The shoe game knows that too. So what do they do? They make sure to have their shoes stand out. From Under Armour to adidas to Nike, these players took the the floor to flash and stunt their footgear.

Stephen Curry rocks the Northern Light Under Armour Curry One. Although he had some issues with minor injuries during the game, the Warriors walked away with another victory.

D'Angelo Russell joined Kobe Bryant and Jordan Clarkson in the Kobe shoe festivities. Apart of the final game, Russell chose to wear last year's "What The" Kobe 9.

We all expected Kobe to wear his pair of Kobe X from the Nike Christmas "Fire and Ice" Collection. He shocked everyone as he opted for something to match the Christmas jerseys.

Jordan Clarkson has been rocking Air Jordans for most of the season. For the 25th, Clarkson brought the classic Grinches to steal the Christmas spotlight.

Dwyane Wade brought another pair of Li Ning Way of Wade 4s. These featured a crimson color to go with the geometric patterns.

Jamal Crawford wore a shiny pair of J. Crossover 3s. Brandblack is a small brand but everyone who wears them has high praise. Be on the lookout for the LA based brand.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin stunted for Team Jordan. Paul in his signature CP3.IX had to return to deal with the pesky Lakers in the fourth. Blake Griffin took flight in the Superfly 4.

Kevin Durant took on the Chicago Bulls in his asymmetrical KD 8s. With the fire inspiration, KD tried to get hot but the Bulls were too much.

Derrick Rose and James Harden got minty touches on their adidas shoes. While Harden doesn't have his signature shoe yet, the Crazylight Boost 2015 has been the Beard's weapon of choice. D Rose and the Bulls showed out and handled the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kyrie Irving's Nike Kyrie 2 got some run. After a long absence, Irving looked anxious to get back on the court with his new signature shoes.

LeBron James laced up the icey LeBron 13s. Like Kyrie, the two Cavs players got the icey treatment to the Fire & Ice theme from Nike. LeBron tried to carry the squad but came up short against the defending Warriors.
