Kobe Bryant Officially Announces Retirement November 30 2015, 0 Comments

Kobe Bryant has been the topic of conversation as of late. On Saturday, the Kobe XIs may have leaked and the man continues to struggle at the NBA level. On Sunday afternoon, Bryant admitted to the world that he would hang up the sneakers and call it quits at the end of the season.

As of now, the Los Angeles Lakers are 2-14 and the playoffs already look bleak. On the Player's Tribune, KB24 posted a poem. The most heartfelt part could arguable be Kobe's confession, love, and release of the game:

You gave a six-year-old boy his Laker dream
And I’ll always love you for it.
But I can’t love you obsessively for much longer.
This season is all I have left to give.
My heart can take the pounding
My mind can handle the grind
But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye.
And that’s OK.
I’m ready to let you go.
I want you to know now
So we both can savor every moment we have left together.
The good and the bad.
We have given each other
All that we have.

The Los Angeles Lakers gave the fans one of the most coveted giveaway prizes ever, a copy of Kobe's letter to the fans.

All 18,997 in attendance tonight will receive a copy of @kobebryant's letter to the fans. #Kobe20

In case you were wondering, these are already going in the hundreds. In the game versus the Hickory, we mean Indiana Pacers, the Kobe brought out another pair of PEs. In a wolf grey upper, the Purple Swoosh and accents are contrasted with a golden outline.

If these would ever release, they may be called the "Retirement Announcement" or the "Letter to the Fans."
