Kobe Bryant visited Asia for the RISE program in which Nike Basketball is flexing their stars internationally. Before Kobe, Paul George and Anthony Davis also dropped in. Entering his 20th season, Kobe's time is coming to an end. While the new generation of fans fall in love with Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant, Kobe will reign supreme in Asia. As one of the most recognizable and popular athletes ever, number 24 can sure draw a crowd.
With his journey, Nike will follow and document their trips. Other athletes will include Kevin Durant, Paul George, and LeBron James. For Kobe, Nike created a House of Mamba which was a basketball court played on LED lighting to create a breathtaking scene. The players and participants got a chance to learn from one of the best. While getting instructions and tips to raise their game, the fun, excitement, and emotions couldn't be contained.
"The ability to RISE is inside everyone," said Bryant. "When you are doing something you love, you make the sacrifices and put in the hard work that enables you to RISE, to overcome and to achieve."
Kobe was spotted in his new Kobe Venomenon V line in an array of colors. Players were spotted in the Chester (inspired by Kobe's high school rivals) and the Venomenon V also.
