Sneakerheads To Look Out After | John Geiger March 08 2015, 0 Comments

For those who don't keep up with social media, John Geiger works as a marketing and business manager, most notably working for Darrelle Revis. Originally an ordinary sneakerhead with big life ambitions, he has finally made it as a influencer in the sneaker community. His Twitter has over 71K followers while his Instagram has more than 96K.

To make this all relevant, the sneaker game has exploded with the exposure of popular Nikes, adidas, Air Jordans. This has paved the road for classic sneaker brands and high end fashion brands to be seen in the sneaker game. With new color ways and retros, John Geiger hasn't been satisfied with the current releases and has turned his artistic imagination into reality by teaming up with TheShoeSurgeon.

Geiger showed off his latest creations through social media. His visions are brought to life with TheShoeSurgeon's craftiness:

He simply captioned his photos as "Upgrades" with eight pairs of kicks customized to his taste. Some have subtle changes such as Swoosh color changes on the red and black pairs of the Supreme X Nike Air Force 1 High collabs and some are completely wild as seen with Air Force 1 lows with the Visvim inspired fringes.

In a chaotic era with so much negativity in the sneaker community, sometimes it's best to stand out and be different. With Geiger's imagination, he's able to convert dope sneakers into his own. From small projects to major reconstructions, the beauty of being unique can be found in the medium of sneakers . For those looking to begin their own creations, acrylic paint can be found in the Reshoevn8r store in the most popular and basic colors (red, blue, black, white). Acrylic paint is viewed as the best type of paint for leather kicks.
