We completely believe Nick Young is capable of pulling out the Nike Air Mags for a real NBA game. In an interview with Sole Collector, Swaggy P expressed his interest in becoming the first player to wear the shoes made famous in the 1989 sequel "Back to the Future 2". While 2015 becomes a year that all sneaker heads are waiting for self locking power laces and hover boards, this also happens to be the year Marty McFly and Doc Brown teleport to. Young can become the sneaker head of 2015 by pulling off this feat.
Swaggy has been battling injuries and inconsistencies in his second season with his hometown Lakers. We won't become overly excited and hold our breaths to see if he rocks the Air Mags. Until then, we can definitely look back at his previous in-game kicks. As NBA fans and sneaker enthusiasts, we cannot forget that Nick's 2001 Jordan Cool Grey XIs soles separated as he was walking up court showing everyone that separation can happen to anyone at anytime.

Don't forget he also pays two full time salaries for shoe keepers to watch over his collection which consists of over 500 pairs of kicks. Nick Young's vast collection mostly consists of Air Jordans, Nike Foamposites, endless Kobes, and LeBrons. Last year, Young's apartment was ransacked and some of his valuables were stolen including the Red October Yeezys. Young was quoted "They got me, man, they stole my Yeezys, too, man." We're glad to see Swaggy P back on his feet with aspirations as high as the sky.
