Brookyln Nets Rock Blue Knots For Colon Cancer Awareness March 31 2016, 0 Comments
Nick Kicks' George Kiel III founded the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation. He uses his love for sneakers and raises awareness for the cause. In an impressive and effective way, Kiel brought the blue shoelace program to life. For $10, the "Blue Knots" can be purchased and thrown onto your sneakers producing a symbolic image of coming together and raising awareness for a great cause.
Since March is the official month for colon cancer awareness, the Blue Knots campaign kicked off in March too. Not only has the sneaker community caught on but the Brooklyn Nets joined in too.

Kiel also hosts a charity basketball tournament. The Kick & Roll Classic will be hosted on July 9th at the Round Rock Sports Center in Texas. Last year, someone playing brought their Air Mags to the court. To search the posts and images, use the #BlueKnots hashtag to explore.
